Questions Cupertino patients ask

How fast can I get an emergency root canal if I'm in Cupertino?

If you call us during business hours we will typically see you the same day — most Cupertino patients are at our office on Hollenbeck Avenue in Sunnyvale within 15 minutes of leaving home. Weekends are covered too: Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM to 3 PM.

Do you take walk-ins from Cupertino?

Please call first — (669) 234-2354 — so we can hold a chair for you. The drive from Cupertino is short enough that calling and walking in often happens in the same hour, but we want to make sure the doctor is on the operatory you need.

What's the fastest route from Cupertino to your Sunnyvale office?

From Cupertino: De Anza Boulevard north to Stevens Creek Boulevard, then west to Wolfe Road, north on Wolfe to Hollenbeck Avenue. The office is at 1565 Hollenbeck Ave, Suite 106. Free parking in the building lot. Roughly 12–15 minutes door-to-door from downtown Cupertino, Vallco, or Cupertino High School.

I'm in pain right now — what should I do before I get there?

Take 600 mg ibuprofen if you can tolerate NSAIDs (skip if you have stomach, kidney, or bleeding contraindications — Tylenol is the backup). Avoid heat on the affected side; cold water or a cold compress is fine for short relief. Don't chew on that side. Call us so we know you're coming.

Does insurance cover an emergency root canal?

Most dental insurance plans cover root canal treatment as a standard benefit. We accept most major plans and submit the claim on your behalf. Call us with your insurance information when you book so we can verify your benefits.
