I'm in pain right now — what should I do before I get there?
Take 600 mg ibuprofen if you can tolerate NSAIDs (Tylenol if not). Avoid heat on the painful side; cold water or a cold compress helps short-term. Don't chew on that side. Call us so we know you're coming.
