Questions Mountain View patients ask

Is any endodontist open weekends in Mountain View?

Weekend endodontic availability around Mountain View is limited — most offices are Monday–Friday only. Silicon Valley Endodontics, about 8–10 minutes east via Central Expressway or El Camino Real, is open every Saturday and Sunday from 9 AM to 3 PM with a specialist endodontist on site. Availability changes, so call (669) 234-2354 before driving over.

How fast can I get to your office from Mountain View?

8–12 minutes door-to-door from downtown Mountain View, Castro Street, Shoreline, or the Caltrain station. Central Expressway east to Mary Avenue then south to Hollenbeck Ave is the most predictable route. Free on-site parking at 1565 Hollenbeck Avenue, Suite 106.

Do you take walk-ins from Mountain View?

Please call first — (669) 234-2354 — so we can hold a chair for you. The drive from Mountain View is short enough that calling and arriving often happens within the same 15 minutes, but a phone call ensures the operatory you need is ready.

I'm at a Google or LinkedIn office and the pain just started — can you see me on a lunch break?

Often yes for an evaluation and pain management; a full root canal typically needs 60–90 minutes of operatory time. Call as you leave the office and we'll tell you honestly whether to come in for an evaluation now and treat later, or whether we can fit the full treatment in.

I'm in pain right now — what should I do before I get there?

Take 600 mg ibuprofen with food if you tolerate NSAIDs; Tylenol is the backup. Avoid heat on that side. Don't chew on the affected tooth. Spreading facial swelling, fever, or trouble swallowing means go to an ER first — that's a medical emergency.

Does insurance cover an emergency root canal?

Most dental insurance plans cover root canal treatment as a standard benefit on the same terms whether it's a weekday or a weekend. We submit the claim for you. Bring your insurance card when you come in.
