Yes, as long as you only had local anesthesia — it numbs the tooth but doesn't affect your alertness or coordination, so you can drive and work normally. The only exception is oral sedation, which requires a ride and the rest of the day off.

How long will my mouth stay numb?

Usually 2–4 hours after the appointment, depending on the anesthetic used. It won't stop you from working, but avoid hot drinks and chewing on that side until sensation returns so you don't accidentally bite your lip or burn yourself.

Can I work out after a root canal?

Light activity is fine the same day. Many people wait until the next day for intense exercise since tenderness can feel more noticeable with an elevated heart rate. After endodontic surgery (apicoectomy), wait a couple of days before vigorous workouts.

Will I need time off for endodontic surgery?

An apicoectomy is minor surgery — most people return to work the same or next day, but expect some swelling and bruising for a few days and appreciate a lighter schedule for 24–48 hours. We'll give you specific aftercare instructions.

Yes. A properly sealed root-canal-treated tooth is not affected by cabin pressure, so flying the same day or next day is fine after a routine procedure. After surgery, it's reasonable to wait a day or two for comfort, but there's no barrier to flying.
